  • Hi,

    the first step in troubleshooting IE issues is to test in noAddons mode.

    IE also has its own popup blocker which can affect outcomes of links.

    Internet Options>Tabbed browsing settings

    "I install IE10 on Win7 sp1 recently, i can not using "open in new tab" this function after i set it in option and remove local administrator permission." suggests that an Addon is causing the issue... you don't need 2 popup blockers.

  • I don't have any addon, and turn the popup blocker off

    add user to administrators group, restart PC,everything is ok...you can set open in new windows or open in new in tab setting.and take effect in time.

    remove it, always open in new windows....

  • Hi,

    You can try to reset your IE for test.

    Internet Options->Advanced->Reset.

    Then please check whether it is helpful.

    CTRL+click or middle button or right click to open in tab - doesn't work. But drag and drop link on the TAB is working!!! :-) This happens if user is not an administrator. Log in as admin ON THE SAME MACHINE resolves the problem. So  the problem is user rights... not in IE installation!!!
