MOSS 2007 and Active Directory (Windows Server 2012) - are they compatible?

We have a MOSS 2007 two server farm and Windows Server 2003 R2 for our Domain Controller (DC). As part of a server upgrade process, we would like to upgrade this DC to Windows Server 2012. Is this version of AD compatible with MOSS 2007? or should we put off the DC until we migrate SharePoint to 2013?

Yes, you can use MOSS 2007 with a domain that is running Windows Server 2012 domain controllers and is at a Windows 2012 domain functional level.
