In the setup wizard collation settings dialog, select the SQL collations radio button . Select the top one in this screen image (Binary order...for use with the 850 (Multilingual) character set):

Believe me, also in SQL Server 2005 (which is out of Support) there is such a collation-

  • Hi Chakravars,

Based on my test, I can also find the "SQL_Latin1_General_CP850_BIN" collation in SQL Server 2005 as the picture showed by Olaf.

By the way, SQL Server 2005 is out of support. It is recommended to install the latest SQL Server.

    Best Regards,

    Emily
