SUP / WSUS Hotfix KB3095113 validity with Windows 2016 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

We completed the CM CB 1606 installation (installed WSUS before CM installation), while configuring SUP role getting warning for Hotfix KB3095113 & KB3159706, so we removed the role SUP. But we failed to get the KBs for Windows 2016, are these KBs valid for Windows 2016?

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi,

No, they are only applicable on Server 2012 R2 and not applicable on Server 2016.

  • So we hope WSUS and SUP works fine w/o any issues with Windows 2016 SCCM server for Windows 10 updates

  • There's no hope here -- it simply does. Those hotfixes are most likely part if the newer WSUS installation or fixed/addressed in another way and are thus totally N/A.

If they're not for my Server 2016 with CM 2016, then why do I get the following message when I select "Upgrades" under the Classifications tab when configuring the SUP component properties? More importantly, could you recommend a resolution? Thanks.

"...you must install WSUS hotfix 3095113 on all [SUP] in your hierarchy. If you do not install this update, the Windows 10 Servicing will not properly function."
