Classic ASP WINDOWS SERVER 2003 TO 2008 R2 UPGRADE IS FAILING ODBC CONNECTION WITH ORACLE ON SOME OF THE PAGES RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Team

We are upgrading classic asp web application from win2003 server to win 2008r2 64 bit server.

    1.ASP pages are working .

2.Normal connection with oracle  is working using odbc connection (general select statement ).

    3.We are using oracle 11g client .

    4.TNS ping is working

    5. ODBC are configure properly as per requirement.

    6.IIS 7.5 is configure .

For some of the connection we are getting error with connection

like Data source name not found, default property not set ,not able to resolve tns .

In that case we are selecting data with different condition option like distinct and count.

we tried all the option .

Is there any changes in ODBC ,because same code is working 2003 server.
