  • Anonymous controls who can send without authenticating, i.e., external senders.  What is the setting for "Default"?

  • I was wrong, since the message is being sent by e-mail, the applicable permission is Anonymous.  What is the role or permissions granted to Anonymous?

    Does this help?

  • Right.  Sending a message to a public folder is always anonymous.  Folder permissions apply to actions that involve opening and using the folder as a folder.
