Issues button on Tasks page Ribbon? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Upgrading to Project Server 2010 we are really happy to see the Issues button on the Project Page:

What would it take to get that same button onto the Tasks Page:

  • Hi Jonathan --

The issues/Risks button are available on Project detail page ribbon but not on the My tasks/timesheet page. Looks like , It's as per the design since issues/risks are at the project level but in My tasks can have one or more projects tasks where you are assigned to.

As far as I know that you will not be a able to see the buttons on Tasks page without a custom development.

    Hope that helps.

  • Assuming an issue or risk is associated with a task, you will see the paperclick icon.  From memory I can't remember if this is clickable, if not, click on the task name to drill into the details and access the issue/risk there.  And remember, on the link menu, you have the Issues and Risks link there.
