IE 8.0 stops responding on RDS Servers RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I have a situation with IE 8.0 in a Citrix enviornment. IE 8.0 suddenly stops responding. I have to kill the process from task Manager before it starts working again.

I have run a dump of the process and the following is the output. Not able to make sense of the error, does anyone know what this means or how this can be fixed.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi JPPhilip

This problem occurs frequently? Third party plugins often cause this problem, you can open IE with No Add-ons for a test. If this problem disappeared, so you can try to  disable some 3rd plugins to avoid this problem.

In addition, you can try to reset IE to resolve your problem.

  • Hi Roger,

All plugin's were disabled. I did that as a part of the trouble shooting process.

I have deleted the IE folder from the users profile Local profile.

    I'll try the reset though.

    Cheers,
