    Question

  • How to deploy the AD RODC server on the remote-site through power shell [schedule automation]. For example I have two server on remote site running windows server 2012 R2 and needs to deploy the windows server OS with RODC and DHCP roles on those servers. The servers name picks from text file in the shared folder. Please help out.

    In addition, as you want to deploy RODC via script, if the provided reference is not enough in this forum, I would suggest you post the question in the scripting forum:

    You can use any guide on installing the RODC using powershell, like this for example: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server-docs/identity/ad-ds/deploy/rodc/install-a-windows-server-2012-active-directory-read-only-domain-controller--rodc---level-200-

    The thing you need to do is keep an eye on the settings to launch Install-ADDSDomainController command with. You are particularly interested in the one called: -ReadOnlyReplica.
