Project 2010 timescale date format RRS feed

  • Question

  • Greetings!

One of our user has a problem with Project 2010 standard.

In the timescale he uses weeks with their numbers (1-52) as a date format.

The problem is that, if he zooms in and out the default week date format overrids the adjusted one.

He is willing to use the zoom, but he doesn't want to re-set the week format all the time.

Is it possible to accomplish it some how?

    Thank you for your help.

    Best regards, Bence.

  • Hi,

One of the messages I give when teaching Project is DO NOT USE THE ZOOM, you cannot control the result and it is often unreadable.

So when your user want to CONTROL Timesclale format altogether, he must use the Timescale window. For instance, using the Scale setting there does NOT alter formats.

That is teh way to go.

    Greetings,
