Telnet on Multiple machines for multiple ports RRS feed

  • Hello,

    I have the following test to do:

    Telnet <<Server Name 1>> 135 -f telnetDCs.txt
    Telnet <<Server Name 1>> 3269 -f telnetDCs.txt
    Telnet <<Server Name 1>> 3268 -f telnetDCs.txt
    Telnet <<Server Name 1>> 636 -f telnetDCs.txt
    Telnet <<Server Name 1>> 389 -f telnetDCs.txt
    Telnet <<Server Name 1>> 49152 -f telnetDCs.txt
    Telnet <<Server Name 1>> 50000 -f telnetDCs.txt
    Telnet <<Server Name 1>> 55000 -f telnetDCs.txt
    Telnet <<Server Name 1>> 65535 -f telnetDCs.txt
    Telnet <<Server Name 2>> 135 -f telnetDCs.txt
    Telnet <<Server Name 2>> 3269 -f telnetDCs.txt
    Telnet <<Server Name 2>> 3268 -f telnetDCs.txt
    Telnet <<Server Name 2>> 636 -f telnetDCs.txt
    Telnet <<Server Name 2>> 389 -f telnetDCs.txt
    etc...
    

    but if I tried as is it stopped on the first command line... how to move on the second then the third...

  • This is not a telnet automation forum.  You need to post in the server forum for information on how to use telnet with autologon.  With the -F argument all output is sent to the log file. 

    In general it is not possible to automate the Microsoft Telnet client.  You can do this with third party products.
