SCOM 2016 - Monitoring TMG RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I need to monitor TMG with SCOM 2016, but I did find only MGMT pack for SCOM 2007. Will this work on SCOM 2016?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

unfortunately the MP is not compatible with SCOM 2016. To be honest I doubt that somebody will invest time in authoring once, considering the fact that the product is in its end of life. This is of course pity for customers using TMG and having SCOM. This is just my humble opinion :) Let's hope I am wrong.

  • Yes, I did find MGMT pack for SCOM 2007.

    Is Compatibility  possible?

    Thanks

  • You can always make it compatible by extracting the XML and creating a new MP containing all the monitoring logic in there. Though you will need some authoring skills to do this.
