Hyper-V & NVIDIA Tesla K80 failover cluster [query] RRS feed

  • Hi!

I am a data scientist with limited knowledge on virtualization. I have studied many articles on the internet including the Microsoft documentation on Hyper-V (DDA and RemoteFx) but I am kind of clueless on this. I would love any help in t his regard.

I am trying to build a failover cluster using Microsoft server and Hyper-V for virtualization. I have bought 4 Tesla K80 Nvidia cards and I plan to install 2 card in a server thus, I will have a two servers in total.

I wanted to know if Hyper-V supports this, I looked into Nvidia vGPU software for virtualization and came to know that Nvidia vGPU software does not support Tesla K80 cards. Can I still use the K80 cards to create failover cluster with Microsoft Server with Hyper-V?
