Tapi and Win7 x64? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

We have an Alcatel OmpiPCX telephone system.

I've installed the Alcatel TAPI driver on the Telephony server and I can see all lines on my telephone central.

On Win7 x86 clients I can make og answer calls, but on x64 I can only make calls ... there are now incomming events.

Anybody knows why I don't get incomming-call-tapievents on x64? I tried to disable UAC - no difference. :(

    Thanks!

  • I am also having this issue. Did you get anywhere with this?

I have Telephony running on a Windows 2003 server and from 32 bit machines am able to sucessfully get events for new call notifications, etc - however through 64 bit this does not appear to be working.

I assume that there is no requirement for a 64 bit TSP driver since the Microsoft telephony service is acting as a proxy in this respect and the issue must be on the client-side. Quite a large assumption perhaps.

Any help that can be added here would be great.
