Can't import songs in Windows Movie Maker RRS feed

    I am trying to create a DVD with vacation pictures.  The pictures and videos load fine, but I am unable to import any audio files.

    The files I am trying to load were downloaded Mp3s and are in my Media Player library.  The error comes up and says

    "X The file c:/........Mp3 could not be imported".  It doesn't say why or give me another option.  I have tried importing it as media and also trying to add it directly to the timeline.

    Please advise!  Thanks!

    Hi,

     

    You may not be able to successfully import some files if they have been encoded using a non-standard codec.

     

    You may try to import some other songs to test.
