Question
-
I need help with installing SOAP 3.0 under Windows 7.
i have a VB6 program which uses SOAP3.0 and i cannot seem to be able to install SOAP 3.0 toolkit.
The sdk installs with no errors but the program says that SOAP is not installed.
trying to register MSSOAP30.dll using regsvr32 fails with error 80004005 even when using 'run as admin'.
Please help me i have to get this working...

You need to go to the MSDN forums to discuss this, but based on information found by searching Microsoft and the internet, SOAP is not compatible with Windows 7.
Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. ”
