2003 standard SP2 is not shutting down.

I have a blade server 2003 standard SP2. if i give shutdown it quickly shows shutting down and vanishes to a blank screen in the console. i still can track the mouse from it through console. The server also cannot ping after that. But still the blade doesnt shutdown.
Any help on this.

Hi,
Does this issue exist on safe mode with network? If not, I suggest performing a clean boot to see if it works.
