  • Question

  • Hello,

I've got a SharePoint 2007 web application with numerous site collections and subsites. I'd like to create a report containing sharepoint security across all these SC and sub-sites. I cant find anything related to using STSADM or powershell. Can someone point me in the direction?

    Thanks

    Neil

  • Hi Neil,

You can enable Site Audit log reports which captures site activities like addition, deletion, modification, viewing etc.

    In addition

You can enable site usage reports which shows you site usage , page usage , site content usage by every user.

    Hope this helps.

Do you want to see the site security, site users and permissions?

If yes then you can create your own custom webpart or  you can use codeplex solution.
