Office Online Server 2016 - How to update license key?

  • We installed OOS in a test environment with a developer's license key from MSDN. We would like to update it to use an enterprise key. I suppose if we uninstalled and re-installed, we could do it that way, but is there a cleaner way?

  • You don't need to. MSDN keyed software may be moved to production without being re-keyed.

Of course, OOS requires you to uninstall it and install a new version every few months (4 - 6), so you'll have that opportunity soon enough to use that enterprise key :)
