  • Hi,

Can you check if the following parameter is enabled:

Administration>Site Configuration>Sites>Hierarchy settings>Client Approval and Conflicting Records tab, ensure that the Automatically resolve conflicting records option is enabled.

  • Hi,

SCCM Duplicate Records are created due to the discovery data manager mechanism which runs a query and sorts the results by date. It will update the most recent returned result rather than the active result if more than 1 result is returned. Any subsequent AD discovery will then update the NULL or inactive entry in the database instead of the active entry.

Here is a workaround: Use query to identify duplicate records of clients, once those duplicates are identified and fetched in to the collection, we can delete those records.

  • Hi,

We are not using AD discovery. I would like prevent this to happen as our technicians don't have the rights to remove computers from SCCM.

Is it a way to prevent this?

    Thanks,

  • In the discovery methods, what is the enabled discoveries?

Btw, you can grant temporally your technicians to remove computer using a RBAC.
