    Question

  • I am using Preferences to apply policy so just want to know once preferences policy is applied it does not apply one again on the client machine for instance google search engine policy for IE-11

second question it is possible to change applied preferences policy on client machine  login with admin account?

If it is applied once, you have checked the option "run only once and do
not reapply" on the common tab. Otherwise PReferences will be applid
    with every gp process.

yes, even with user permissions, if the prefs are applied on user base.

yes, if you have full access within VPN and you did not rule ports inside.

If you check this option a "RunOnce" GUID will be integrated inside the
XML. The client will store this inside the registry as a marker if the
    preference is already processed.

gpupdate /force or changing the preference setting will NOT change the
GUID and so the item will NOT be reapplied.

To change the GUID and get a "secound run" you need to uncheck the
option, press ok or apply, then check the option again. This will create
    a new GUID.
