Project server 2016 and SharePoint wont sync permissions RRS feed

  • Dear PS users,

    I have just installed SharePoint farm and immediately created a PWA site. Then I have switched to Project Server permission mode. Now, when I add a new user to a team member group, he is not automatically added as a user in the   Team Members (Project Web App Synchronized) sharepoint group.

    I checked the jobs in central administration, I run them manually after i add a user, and nothing happens.
    I checked if the group team members has login global permission, and it does, all is as it should be.

    Does anyone have any experience with this, it is very annoying?

  • I have also seen the same from my side although running the script below seems to correct the permissions in SharePoint

    Sync-SPProjectPermissions -Url <URL> -SyncPWASite

    Curious why it doesnt add automatically after the queue job has completed

    Have you actually created a project, adding enterprise resources to it, assigned the resources to tasks, then saved and published the project?  If not, please try that and let us know the result.
