Scripting issue, nothing happens when script is running

  • I have an issue trying to stop SQLEXPRESS service on a specific client prior to the DPM backup.
    Yes it's snapshot but I still want to do it.

    This is my ScriptingConfig.xml on SRV0023:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <ScriptConfiguration xmlns:xsi=""
    <DatasourceScriptConfig DataSourceName="Backup Using Child Partition Snapshot\SRV0023">

    stopsqlps.cmd :
    "C:\Windows\system32\WindowsPowershell\v1.0\powershell.exe" -File c:\scripts\stopscript.ps1 -d stop-service -displayname "SQL Server (SQLEXPRESS)" -Force

    startsqlps.cmd :
    "C:\Windows\system32\WindowsPowershell\v1.0\powershell.exe" -File c:\scripts\startscript.ps1 -d start-service -displayname "SQL Server (SQLEXPRESS)"

    net stop "SQL SERVER (SQLEXPRESS)"

    net start "SQL SERVER (SQLEXPRESS)"

    Scrips seems to run but the SQLEXPRESS service is not affected (stopped/started) when the backup is running.
    Eventlog gives no clues.

    The DataSourceName is identical with the name in the DPM Console GUI.

    The cmd-files can successfully be processed from command line and then the service is stopped and started.

    What have I missed here?
