Internet is accessible, but networking reports "no internet access" and yellow warning icon over wireless signal icon in systray university proxy

Hello, i am using a proxy server (port 80) through a LAN which needs authorization (username and password) in university. Internet on browser works fine but networking reports "no internet access" and yellow warning icon over LAN signal icon in systray. I am using Windows 8 single language.

Since you are using proxy, did you change the IP address/DNS settings?

If your machine is unable to perform one of the action successfully form below two, you can see yellow warning on network icon:

1. DNS query to www.msftncsi.com

2. HTTP GET request to ncsi.txt
