add column from list to excel sheet

i have sharepoint 2007 enterprise
and i have one custom list,this list i export it to spread sheet to use it as report and now i add new column to this list how can i add this coulmn to existing excel sheet.

thanks for your reply but it is not reall helping me.
1- if i copy and past the data it will not work becouse everytime i open the excel it is refresh the data frm some connection between excel and sharepoint list and get the updates.
2- if we try to analysis the thing her we have excel file with link or connection to sharepoint list so im sure the is place to change somthing in this connection my question is how to modifay it.

Hi,
Since now you have mentioned that you are 'refreshing' the data in Excel so my previous post is not valuable here. The excel file that you exported is connected to a view, not to the list. Therefore, you need to add the new column to this view apart from adding it to the list. Afterward, refresh your excel data.
