Need a fresh start for WMDC and Windows phone so I can Synch with Office 2010 RRS feed

  • Can someone tell me how to remove a device from the device manager???   I need to remove my Windows phone and its drivers and WMDC to get a clean start.  I'm using Windows 7.0, 64-bit with Office 2010.

  • Hi Kochie,

     

    Please take the following steps:

     

    1. Try removing WMDC in Control Panel—Programs—Programs and Features, including the driver update.

    2. Then open Device Manager and find the network device. Remove it from there. For its drivers, you can remove it in Device Manager when the phone is connected to the computer.

    3. Please reboot the system.

    4. After rebooting, please connect the phone.

     

    Now it should detect it, and download WMDC to get the driver.
