attachments and outlook email RRS feed

  • Question

  •  I have been attempting to send outlook emails with PDF attachments but every time I try to send it the progarm  places the email along with its attachment in the draft box. When this happens I have been reverting to an AOL program that send the atachments with no problem but it is not my best or preferred way to do it.

  • Hi jbt13,

If you don't attach any file, will the mail be sent out?
If you attach other files (xls, doc), will the mail be sent out?

The issue happens with a mailbox on Exchange server? If not, please confirm whose mail service it is and contact the mail service provider about the issue.

    Best regards.

  • how big is the PDF size, the default allowed attachment size is 10 MB so the actual file size should not be more than 8 MB

  • Hi,

Please let us know the version information of your Exchange server and the affected client.

And test in OWA (with/without another type of attachment) to see if the issue reoccurs.

    Thanks.
