Empty Default Authentication Level and Default Impersonation Level in dcomcnfg in Windows XP SP3 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Sir,

I have problem my DCom in Windows XP SP3.

I typed "dcomcnfg" at Run and want to edit the DCom setting. I selected Console Root ~> Component Services ~> Computers, then right click "My Computer" to select "Properties". I selected the tab "Default Properties", enable the "Enable Distributed COM on this computer", but the "Default Authentication Level" and "Default Impersonation Level" are blank/empty.

How can I configure the DCom in Windows XP SP3?

    Thanks in advance
