IIS snap-in is not showing in MMC RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am using Windows 7 Home basic 64-bit. I enabled Internet Information Services (IIS) in Turn Windows Features on/off of control panel, after that restarted my machine. Later on i tried to add IIS to MMC console, but i didn't found IIS in available Snap-ins.

Can anybody help out how to add IIS to MMC console?

  • You have to upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium. Windows 7 Home Basic doesn't support most of the IIS web server features.
