Changing WDATP trial tenants user password RRS feed

  • (The information below is applicable only for TRIAL users)

    WDATP users are managed via Azure Active Directory. When the WDATP service goes live, it will be connected to each customer’s own AAD tenant, fully managed by the customer. For the public preview, to simplify onboarding, we have set up a temporary dedicated AAD tenant per customer, set its password and related policy.

     

    Therefore password changes are currently controlled by Microsoft as the AAD tenant owner. To change the portal login password follow the these steps:

    1.      Sign into https://myapps.microsoft.com with the credentials you use to access the WDATP portal

    2.      Click on the profile tab.

    3.      Click on the change my password tile on the right hand side of the screen.

    4.      Type your old password, and then type a new password and confirm it.

    5.      Document your new password in a safe place.

    6.      Click Save.
