  • Will future versions of the .NET Framework be created past 4.6.2 or is all new development being done on .NET Core? What is the end of life date for 4.6.2? Please link the source of the information.

    Yes, as .NET Core isn't supported on all platforms, you will continue to see it developed.

    .NET Framework 4.6.2 follows the support lifecycle policy of the parent operating system. It will be supported at least through the life of Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows 10, although that is subject to change if there are later releases within the .NET Framework 4 family (similar to how versions < 4.5.2 were end-of-lifed).
