  • Question

  • I am installing CSPP now but encounter some problems.

    I have done all pre-requisite...(import MP, PRO...etc)

But when I configured the CSPP,something goes wrong.

I created VMM connector on Service Manager, but it does not work.

The status of the connector is empty, even I set it to sync now.

Please help tp solve this problems.

  • Hi

    1) If this is a VMM --> SCSM issue then check the remote execution policy is set to remotesigned on the VMM server and the SCSM server.

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee176961.aspx

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd347642.aspx

    2) Make sure the user account used for the conenctor has local windows administration rights privileges.

    3) On the SCSM server, check that the Invoke-Command cmd-let could be called against VMM server using the credentials provided for VMM connector:
    Invoke-Command -ComputerName VMM_SERVER_NAME -ScriptBlock {get-help} -Credential CONNECTOR_USER_NAME)

    E.g From PSHell - C:\Windows\system32> invoke-command -computername scvmm.contoso.local -scriptblock {get-help} -Credential domain\user

This will prompt you for the password. Enter the password and then the cmdlet should give you details about the get-help cmdlet but if it fails it will give you hints to troubleshoot the issue.

    4) Run "Set-PSSessionConfiguration Microsoft.Powershell -ShowSecurityDescriptorUI" on VMM server to check what permissions are set for PowerShell execution

    Cheers
