Project Web App: How to create a webpart page?

    Question

  • Hi,

I'd like to create a new page in my project site within Microsoft Project Online (PWA).

When I click on my "home" link for my project site, I only see edit page. New page does not appear.

I'm unable to find it anywhere else within site contents.

How can I create a webpart page?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

I am always creating a new document library as a container for my web part ppages, selecting "Web Part Page" as template.

Within this new library, I can create all my web part pages.

    Perhaps an approach for you?

    Regards
    Barbara

  • Thanks for the work around Barbara.

It's amazing that you can't just create a basic webpart page from site contents section. I'd like to understand why it's not available though....

I think I'll just make do with your suggestion, seems like the path of least resistance.

    Thank you very much.
