Error in MS project 2013 RRS feed

  • While a particular project plan try to open in the Read/Write mode in the MPP 2013 the below mentioned message has been occur.

    “1 new update(S) have been accepted for this project”

    We are also not able to open the project in Editing mode as MSPS.

    Please suggest me how can I resolve the issue.

  • Hi Sankar,

    The 2 issues are related. You need to publish the project so the task update will be taken into account in the project. It might be checked out and this might be the reason why you cannot open it in read-write mode.

    First be sure that no one else in currently working on the given project (which might explain why you can't open it). Then go to PWA, server settings, force enterprise object. Select the project and click on "check-in". You should now be able to open the project. Publish it and the message should then not appear anymore. In case you still cannot open it, open MS Project, go to file, options, save, click on "clean up local cache" and delete the given project from your local cache (note that there is a drop down menu to display projects in your cache checked out by you or not checked out).
