  • Ron,

The required features for the Project Site don't appear to be enabled in the template. In Project Online, the site feature is called Project Web App Connectivity. It should be something similar. Hope this helps.

  • I had to match up the fields so they were the same and then it started working.

  • The issue is more than just fields. The reason this functionality is packaged as a feature is there is special publish code connected to the Save event in SharePoint. If you enter an Issue, it normally publishes the Issue to the Reporting datastore. You may want to verify that the data is flowing from SharePoint to Project Server.

  • We are getting the same issue except the project creates just fine in PWA but when we attempt to create a project from a proposal list of projects utilizing the 'Create Project' function, the error results.  I have verified that the Project Web App Connectivity feature is enabled in the site template.

    Thanks,

    Todd

  • Make sure that the Project Proposal Workflow is activated on the site and that the site is in the PWA site collection.

  • I had to match up the fields. For example a text field needs to be the same in Project Ideation as it is Project Center. Also, if it is a Lookup Table in Project Ideation then the field in Project Center needs to be a simple Text Field. If it is a Choice column then the values need to be the same in both Project Ideation and Project Center. Does that make sense? Let me know if you have questions.
