  • Question

  • Is there an easy way to add a recurrence to the calendar entry to make setting up repeating classess easier?

Also, we have found out that even though we have the number of seats available to say 6...it allows people to go over that number when signing up for a class.

    I'm using Sharepoint 2007

    Thanks,
    Marla

  • HI,

Yes the recurrence is available in MOSS 2007.

This functionality is provided in OOB calendar webpart itself. While adding a new event you can select the checkbox of recurrence and there you can define the parameters.

To limit the attendees you can use workspace. you will find the this also as OOB and you can manage the attendees in this way. While creating a new calendar entry you can select a workspace and then you can follow this up.

I hope this will help you out.

    Thanks,
