RDS Web access certificate RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Having two servers acting as Session host S1 and S2

Two servers both running RDS web access and Gateway S3 and S4

Certificate on S3 and S4 has subject : apps.contoso.com. This cert used for web access and gateway

I access my RDS Web access page by going to apps.contoso.com/rdweb which resolves to either S3 or S4

When the remote app comes up, it said : accessing S3.contoso.com , certificate mis match, click yes to continue.

How can I let the published web app to point to apps.contoso.com and not S3 or S4?

  • Hi,

    Thanks for your post.

Make sure apps.contoso.com can resolve to FQDN of S3 or S4. In addition, on IIS manager Binding Dialog on both servers, you need to binding port 443 with the certificate issue to apps.contoso.com.

For more detailed information, you may refer to the following article.
