SMS_SITE_SYSTEM_STATUS_SUMMARIZER still cannot access storage object on site system

Question

I am facing an issue with SMS_SITE_SYSTEM_STATUS_SUMMARIZER component with below error in Site Status
Site System Status Summarizer still cannot access storage object "\\[SMS_Provider Machine]\C$\SMS" on site system "\[SMS_Provider Machine]\".
In our SCCM environment we have splitted SMS_Provider and Primary Site. i.e. SMS_Provider and Primary Site are on different servers.
sitestat.log says :
Unable to get available space for the Site Object ["Display=\\[SMS_Provider Machine]\\C$\SMS\"]MSWNET:["SMS_SITE=COR"]\\[SMS_Provider Machine]\\C$\SMS\
The server NAL path ["Display=\\[SMS_Provider Machine]\\"]MSWNET:["SMS_SITE=COR"]\\[SMS_Provider Machine]\\ is currently not accessible. There are no pollable objects list in the SCF for system "["Display=\\[SMS_Provider Machine]\"]MSWNET:["SMS_SITE=COR"]\\[SMS_Provider Machine]\\", configured as SMS Provider
Also Primary Site Server is added to local admin group of [SMS_Provider Machine]
Could anyone please let me know how to solve this issue ?
Thanks,

Doesn't the logfile contain an error code?

Does \\[SMS_Provider Machine]\C$\SMS exist?
Can you get to this UNC from the site server?

Why? That typically adds latency and overhead.

I am able to access \\[SMS_Provider Machine]\C$\SMS from the site server
The reason to separate the SMS Provider was suggested by Microsoft because few months back we had an issue with sms provider. Is there anything i need to check?

With which account are you able to access it? The site server uses its local System account to do this so that's what you need to test with.
