Skype for Business conversation history saved to public folder RRS feed

  • I have several users reported that their Skype for business conversation history saved to public email account in outlook, not to their own email account. We're using Microsoft office professional plus 2013 in our environment.

    Did this issue only happen to specific user?

    Please check if your outlook is running and have the user’s Exchange email set as the default account.

    You could also try the steps below:

    1. Delete SFB cache files and test again: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\sip_UserName@Domain.com
    2. Perform a clean boot on your computer.
    3. Make sure your outlook and SFB client with the latest update.

  • Yes, the issue only happens to a few people, and they have their email set as default. I tried the above steps , but no luck. Thanks for your reply though.

    Because this issue happens to few people, so we suggest you compare AD attributes between the affected users and other normal users.
