Does Windows Server 2019 Support AGPM 403? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I built a new domain running on Windows Server 2019, and want to manage group policies via AGPM.

From the official docs, I find the latest AGPM only supports Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016.

Does anyone make a test on Windows Server 2019?  Thank you.

  • Yes. you are right, AGPM is not supported on recent versions. I am not even sure if if works on Windows 2016 too. However, you can make a test of ypur AGPM on Windows Server 2019. They can provide you dedicated virtual environment to host your AGPM with full support.

  • It is not because any software seems to encounter no problem that Microsoft is engaged to support it. There is no official support from Microsoft of AGMP on W2K19. It seems Microsoft is willing to read rid of any non cloud solution but insists on using Intune to manage computers although not all features of GPO are covered by Intune.
