Mouse and Touch Pad RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've tried the forums.  I've tried to get someone to call me.  Windows 10.  I installed a new mouse and can't figure out how to disable the touchpad when an external mouse is installed into the usb port.  It's driving me crazy.  I'm about to smash a wall.

  • Hi,

Always we could disable the “Touchpad when external mouse is attached” option is Settings or Control Panel. Please check the steps in the link below.

Also please note that depending on the manufacturer, the option to disable the touchpad when a mouse is connected can be buried within the support software.Hope it could be helpful
