  • Hi,

I am receiving overdue remainder email alerts for the documents that are deleted, how would I terminate collect feedback workflow on a document that is deleted? I have full control on the Site

    Any thoughts?

  • Hi Skancharla,

Have you tried restarting the SharePoint Timer Service from all your SharePoint servers - to see if that stops those alerts?

    Hope that helps!

  • Hi,

You can try creating an event receiver that will get  fired up when a document is deleting and will remove all workflow associations with it.

I hope this will help you out.

  • Hi Rahul,

Your solution may work moving forward but now I need to fix the existing things. I am trying couple of things and not sure it will resolve all my issues

    1) Clearing Cache on all the servers on the farm

    2) Restarting SharePoint timer Service

    3) Detaching and attaching content Data bases

    4) Deleting work flows tasks from the task list
