Building a new PC, how to install Win 10 RRS feed

  • My PC is about 10 years old. It is time to build a new one.  I have a store bought (Direct from Microsoft) copy of Windows 7 Pro.  I took the free Windows 10 Pro upgrade a couple of years ago when it was offered. 

    As I opened with, it is time to build a new PC. My question is, how do I get back to Windows 10 Pro since I do not have an installer for it?

    As you made free upgrade to Windows 10, you should be eligible to make reinstall of Windows 10 on same device without worrying about activation. 

    But if you want to have Windows 10 on new machine, you can transfer the old machine license, if it is retail one. If the license is not retail, you need to buy new license for new machine.
