What is FQDN Discovery RRS feed

Answers

  • Hi Ashok,

Dose the “FQDN discovery” mean the process of DNS query?

FQDN is the abbreviation of Fully Qualified Domain Name. It identifies the host’s position within the DNS hierarchical tree by specifying a list of names separated by dots on the path ending in a trailing period. FQDN is usually used in the process of DNS query.

The following article describes the DNS domain name hierarchy and the process of DNS query in detail.
