How to clear the missing message count under the conversations tab. RRS feed

  • Question

  • somehow, I missed two messages from my coworker, then I just go to the Conversation tab, double-click the missed message, open it and view it.

normally, this should then clean the unread red count, but it doesn't.

  • Hi Spark,

For your issue, I have the same circumstance before, and I open the conversation in the conversation history folder of outlook, and double click the missed message, then the issue disappeared.

If the issue persists, please check if you have exclamation symbol in conversation tab like following

If this is the case, the issue may be caused by integration between SFB and Exchange server, please press Ctrl and right click SFB icon in the taskbar, open configuration information. On the open page check if EWS status and MAPI status are OK.

As a supplement, you could try to delete SFB cache files then test again.
