  • Hi Gurmeet,

    DPM always writes its backup to tape doing a full copy of the backed up data.

  • 1. yes, DPM do, you have to backup short-term daily tape backup. Moreover applications needs to support it. Like SQL DB in Simple recovery mode would do only full backups. Sharepoint, Systeam stae are always full.
