How can i quickly determine the resources AND hours scheduled for each task? RRS feed

  • Question

  • right now, i have all my tasks in here, along with which resources are asigned and what percentage of their time is spent on the task for what duration.

i need to report the following:

task a               resources                     hours per resource

task b               resources                     hours per resource

    .....

task n               resources                     hours per resource

    is this possible?

  • Well, in 2010 there is a Task Usage View

    That gives you:

    Task 1

Resource A      Work hrs.   start date   finish date

Resource B      Work hrs.   start date   finish date

    Task 2

Resource C      Work hrs.   start date   finish date

Resource D      Work hrs.   start date   finish date

Otherwise you can add the Summary Task name to the resource views. This works a lot of the time as a lot of folks have several tasks under a summary task representing a deliverable. That's all I see. Beyond that it's into VBA I think. Sorry I can't be of more help. Perhaps someone else knows?
