                                                                                     This is my report and solution center info..........if it will work i want to use it but if it isn't i need to be able to uninstall it .....when i try uninstalling it,  it fails to finish the whole uninstall

  • Are you trying to uninstall Nero using Programs and Features? What error message do you receive? You can get the latest (and free) version of Nero here.

  • uninstalling through"uninstall or change" through control panel:

     

     

    error;

    windows installer has stopped working....                   internal error:   custom action dll crashed on last call in function 'neroag_unregisteredcomex' the installer must now exit               crashed thred id 2052--------------current thread id 2276

  • Download and run the "Nero CleanTool". Get it here (for Nero 6 and 7).

  • Hmm... Try to disable DEP (Data Execution Prevention) as mentioned here, reboot and try to run the "cleaner" once more. After this works (or even if it doesn't) restore DEP settings to the default values. Follow the instructions from the page I've linked to but in point 7 enter bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx OptIn and then reboot.
