    Hi,

    I have to apply CAC to a ring topology WAN with 5 sites. The network is build for resiliance if one of the WAN connections are lost, traffic i routed the other way.

    Site 1 is main site, and connected to site 2 and 5, site 2 is connected to site 1 and 3, site 3 is connected to site 2 and 4, etc. Site 3 and 4 is not connected directly to main site.

    Should I define a "dummy" region site, define BW policy of 100kb for each media and assign these to each site, BW policy of what I need and assign these to intersite links or is there another way of doing CAC in this type of network??

    If you will use CAC for all sites you have to configure CAC for all links.

    It is allso possible to define several intersight links to BW policies.

    So I would define the max. bandwidth for Audio/Voice for each WAN link and use intersight links between all sights.
