Broken Direct Access client install RRS feed

  • Hi,

    One of our clients has a damaged DCA install. It is running 1.5 and we can't get it to install correctly, or start services.

    These are the errors:

    "Service 'DirectAccess Connectivity Assistant Service' (DcaSvc) failed to start.  Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services." 
    We h
    ave tried manually starting service upon getting this error during install and it says that it cannot start because it is flagged for deletion (might just be because the installer flags it as such for rolling back on a failed install)

    We can't get it to uninstall cleanly either.

    Any help is appreciated.
